Anyone else got one of these?

It's basically one of those list making websites regarding video games. What you own, beat, etc etc that you can use to keep track of your own games and you can also see the lists of any friends you have on it.

This is mine if you wanna check it out.

How do you post it as a sig?

Highlight "My Backloggery", then click "Options."

You should see it on the bottom of the page. Just copy and paste the code onto your sig.

Nice to see someone else making one. These are pretty neat. anyone that has/makes one can feel free to add me to their buddies, or "Multi-tap" as its called.

Yeah OK I'm in.

There's probably other stuff I still own that I haven't thought to include. I haven't included stuff that I don't own/don't own anymore.

Same with myself. It's interesting to see what other kinds of games folks play.

I was looking through your list, plasm. Can't believe I forgot about GoldenEye on my list. lol That's been fixed, although I no longer seem to have it...
I believe I saw some imports on your list. You can actually set what region your games are from in your entry.

Ah, I'd like to make use of a program as this one, but I wish I could download it and do so while off-line also.

Forgot to mention this the other day, but thanks for the tip! I fixed those.

Not a problem, just wanted to make an observation and some enlightenment.

So do you not have a readily available online connection or something?
Not trying to sound snobby or anything, just curious.

No, it's just I wouldn't work to go through all the trouble of backlogging several hundred games only to have the service taken down one of these days.

If I could download and back up the program, I wouldn't have to worry about that.

Wow, that's quite a negative way to look at it. Regardless, I don't see this website going anywhere for a while.

But whateves, your choice and all that.

I have almost 400 titles in my list and it took between 5 and 10 hours of work, no way it was more then 10. 5-10 hours doesn't seem like all that big a loss for a service that will most likely be around for years to come.

Then again I've made alot of these and enjoy it as a past time. I have 2 major anime ones completely up to date, Both of which I've been a member of for over 4 years.

http://www.anime-planet.com/users/Regulus777

http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=userpage&uid=163070

Which can also support my claim that these sites last a very long time. Backloggery has also been up since 2007.

Although I understand what you mean for wanting your own very permanent record. I'll make word documents with lists of my things as well. These online ones are more for sharing with a community and a prettier resource that takes less work then making your own special set up.

Since Regulus mentioned other similar sites, I figure I'd add my AniDB on here too.

But, if for soem reason you still don't want to, you can always make an Excel file or something just for that purpose (apparently that's what the guy that made Backloggery did before he made the website).
