Its not my fault I barely played the other games. I can't offord that kind of stuff very often. Besides, thats the game that made me a Bomberman Fan to begin with.

I understand where you're coming from. But there are a lot of better Bomberman games out there (in many peoples' opinions). But you're right, platforming isn't very prevalent in the series.

I never gave Bomberman Hero a chance, though I love the music in the first stage.

Bomberman Hero's music continously goes from memorable to insufferable. It's rather distressing actually.

I didn't like Bomberman Hero from day one but my brother got pretty far in that game, so I guess me buying it wasn't a waste.
