This looks very promising. Cant' wait to see the multiplayer. Unlike Bomberman Live (BML) this game is developed in-house so I'm sure it'll get more love than BML. For god sakes BML didn't even have teams.
I'm also interested in what the "appeal motions" will be. If these are anything like the motions in old school Japanese Bomberman online (motions for idling, dying, winning, punching, ect) I'll love it.

Just the fact it's for the wii helps a lot too because there are a lot of extremely bored hardcore gamers that have only like 3 games made for them. >_>
I'm guessing this game will probably do well and it might help Bomberman to get more popular in the US.
I have to admit, by this point the game does look pretty good.... But I don't have a Wii and probably won't get one. Hey at least they're going back to the old format and adding new gameplay elements like I said they should!
And since it's on the wii it's going to do well and it should please the hardcore gamers as well and if we are lucky a lot of new people become bomberman fans.
And it still has online, right? As long as that wasn't taken out the game will be a success. I bet you all know what I'd be doing non-stop for about a week And I'd also want to play with everybody here that would be getting the game. I've only gotten to face a few BombermanBoard members in a match before, and I've been here this long...
Hahaha, the boss on this screenshot kinda looks like you, Serkol....
...whaat?

Prolly the one that came on DS earlier simply titled "bomberman".
Oh man, I'm not sure if it is because Bomberman looks completely different in it or because of how long ago that game came out (and how many other BMan games were release on the DS in the meantime) but I completely forgot about it.

I wasn't aware of that one.... now they're just getting lazy. Why, Hudson, why? I don't even care what the game was like or about, just.... why....
They could have at least called it Bomberman DS.
And I don't care if getting frustrated over the name of a game comes off as silly to anyone, it is important, especially when you reuse names. And why are there two Bomberman Stories? Yeah the second one is "Bomberman Story DS" but it isn't even related to the first Bomberman Story....
I think it might be Konami's fault. Or at least, I can tell you Konami hates subtitles.
Castlevania on the N64 was originally called Mokushiroku (which can be translated as either Apocalyupse or Revelations, I've been told), but outside of Japan it's just Castlevania. And The GBA/s Circle of the Moon? Same thing: in Europe the subtitle was dropped and it's just Castlevania.

This is why translations should be to the letter. Of course I don't mean the words all out of order and improper English/whatever language they're translating to, but they shouldn't change things around. >_<
But I'm pretty sure both Bomberman Stories were Bomberman Story in Japan.
I agree. Though there are cases in which the original title sounds really bad when translated, but in general translations should be as faithful as can be.
