Nearly 4 years ago in early July of 2003 I stumbled upon Bombermanboard. I found it through an old Bomberman fansite called Bomberman Fantastic Site created by someone known as Vincent Wong. I was at the peak of my Bomberman fandom at the time and instantly joined. Though my fandom for this series has died down considerably since that day, I still love this place because of its great group of people with unique distinguishable personalities. I, like many of you, still hope for the day that bomberman's awesome story mode style from the N64 period will make a triumphant return. Anyway let me get to the point. I mainly wanted to create this topic to thank all of you for the great times I've had and to show you all some of my favorite, most memorable topics of the past 2 years or so.
Here's a few...
-Shout Outs-
Razon
I'd like to thank you for taking on the leadership role and hosting the board and keeping it alive for all of us for the past 2 and a half years. I am pleased we have someone as reliable as you to keep our board in good shape. Whenever there is a problem you are on it and fix it quickly. Good work! Though you are a fairly mysterious, you are still a very central figure here, and everyone knows you. It has also always been amusing to see what new obscure online games you find and try to get us into next. Hehehe
Bomba Twist
Although you hardly post these days you were a good contributing member of the board. Not to mention you were one of the few that got into Tales of Symphonia!

I've known you since the beginning of my days here. You're fun to talk with and I wish you were on aim or msn more often. It was always a pleasant surprise seeing a random comment by you on my old Greatest journal.
Ao Bomber (Blue)
The other big Megaman/Shining Force fan here. You're a lot of fun and you're a good mod. Your serious attitude has always kept things sane here in times of trouble (though they were few and far in between). I'd also like to point out that you're usually one of the first to acknowledge my views in a discussion when sometimes others all but ignored.
Gold Bomberman
Gold Bomber! What the heck has happened to you? You were one of the coolest members here! We have such similar interests. If you ever happen upon this place again drop me an IM! and remember, "There's a difference between being a hero, and being a memory..."
Sora G
Your fanfiction and art are great! Especially your icons. You are a great contributer to the Bomberman Community and its not just at this forum either! Not too mention you have like the coolest Bomberman related Sig ever... I still laugh every time i read it all.
Bomber_Al
I can never thank you enough for rounding up all those 2nd attack MP3s (especially with the slow connection speed you had). Simply Awesome...
Bombtarded (Chris H)
I'm quite impressed with how much of a beating you take from a lot of the members here and how you've always stood tall. Kudos to you and thanks for staying with us! People may say you spam... and needless to say, you do, but all the same you have had a good amount of positive input too and I have recognized that.
SSJ_Sonic
My brother... Well, there's no major reason to thank you for anything related to Bomberman board but you're great just the same.
MysticBomber
You've always been helpful when it comes to finding music or pics or something of that nature and your very friendly and fun in general. Stay Cool! Not that you weren't going to...
Kuttlas
You are awesome Kuttlas and you know it! You're one of the better debaters here at the board if not the best and you can give me a serious run for my money when it comes to long and meaningful posts. Ala the System Discussions. Not to mention you crack me up. Some of your sarcastic remarks and your opinions on certain things have nearly split my sides. You should log onto Aim and/or Msn more often too! Bah! and you got me into Valis right as it was ruined you jerk.....
CrystalBomber
You have always been and always will be one of the best friends I made from this forum. You were the very first friend I made here in fact. Our love for Bomberman brought us some good times between that unfinished fanfic and all the role play. And the countless discussions on just about everything we could think of from life to videogames. You're so clever and dependable. If you ever need that fanfic for something I still have a master copy of everything we had done so far. Thanks for putting up with all my nonsense and being my friend. Though you hardly visit the board these days I wont forget what a good member you were back in the old days. I wish you great happiness!
Elf
I got you to join the board and I hope you've gotten some fun out of it. A light contributer but a good one.
Phantom Kensai
Your time with us was brief but I must simply thank you for getting me into Fate/StayNight perhaps one of the best anime I've ever seen. Wherever you are I hope you're doing well!
Serpx
For Bomberman-Network. Although the first site was short lived it was a lot of fun playing bomberman online and actually having one successful tourny. Let's do it again damn it!
PikaButcher
You may not be our admin anymore but I know you still poke your head in here every so often. Kudos to the great admin you once were. I always got a kick out of your personality.
And to the rest of you...
Thanks for making this great place what it is. I'm proud to have been a member of bombermanboard for the 4 years I've been here and I'll continue to be for as many more years to come as possible! Feel free to Drop Reggy a line! Though it may be small you guys have indeed made a positive impact on my life!
Hehe, thanks for thanking me for... whatever it is I did that made you wanna thank me.
That reminds me of how I joined only because KRR was breifly down. Now I come here like 2-3 times a week and more often then KRR. I dunno, there's something quite appealing to this board that's nonexistant from KRR.
Looking back at those topics you mentioned sure bring back memories, heh. Those video game consoles debates were fun, we should bring them back with a fourth one (I remember making a third one which wasn't really all that rememberable I guess. Link is here, if you somehow don't recall.)
Anyways, happy fourth anniversary dude. I think this goes without saying, but you're a good and rare addition to Bomberman Board. I also believe that you affected Bman Board and it's members in some way, may it be small or large. In short, you've become quite a respected figure here. You're a great guy, and a fun person to make small talk to. Here's to sticking around here for the next years to come!

Oh hey sup, can't believe I missed this, this is what I get when I forget to login for weeks at a time. Only one other response here too, just goes to show you how dead this place is when the regular members post once a week. Congratulations on making it this far, don't chicken out now. I probably would have left a long time ago if this weren't our gathering place of choice, seeing as how you're my favorite e-buddy and one of the originals. Seeing all those old great topics makes me wish I posted more.
Also excellent selection of 90's video game icons in your avatar.
lmao, Bubsy the bobcat. I finally read up on him in Hardcore gaming 101, personally one of my favorite websites. I always knew about his reputation of bad games, but now I know the full story. The article is a great read if you havent read it.I recomend that site to anyone searching for obscure games be they bad or good.
Actually the funniest thing about the hardcore gaming 101 article is at the end there are some links and bubsy has a fansite. lmao. You might get a kick out of checking that out Kuttlas.
Thanks for the kind words, it sure has been an adventure. I remember it was just a poll in the beginning asking who would host, and I was quite inexperienced at the time. I obtained my first pay host just before I started hosting the board back then, it was one of the things that helped push me to do it. Fixing the board anytime anything ever came up, and making new themes, and even learning how to act. I'm glad to have taken care of taking over hosting the board, and will continue to keep doing so as long as the board lasts for. I actually have plans to make a bomberman game sometime in the future, that should bring some life back to the forum hopefully.

Oh wow, I've missed a good thread. Thanks for the props, reg. You're one of the coolest gamers I've met. Can't believe it's been 6 years since I joined the orginal board made by Johann.
we cannot reminisce without mentioning the infamous bomberman.net? "you're a *beep*" webpage. I think that that was one of the funniest bomberman things to ever happen.
on a positive not back to Reg, without reading some of your Megaman whitening, i would never have picked up Battle Network 3 (not that its the series you hold close to your heart, but it shares the same title almost) as i would never have been aware of it. Bomberman Board was the site that got me acquainted with commendable internet behavior so i hold it to be quite special as does Reg for his reasons and everyone else i'm sure for whatever else.
However, the dwindling number of posts and enthusiasm illustrate that everyones growing up, what happened to Wendy in Toy Story is slowly happening to this board (ye gods, i cant believe i just used that comparison, have i no pride?), we have had many a good time but it is history now, only a memory. I blame it on Hudson and the quality of recent Bomberman, or maybe i have become a little bit grumpy.
I had forgotten all about that! Thanks for the memory hehe.
And its not so much that we're growing up its moreso that bomberman has just been sucking ass lately... I'm still the kiddy geek I was when i joined this board. We're just running out of things to talk about and there's not a lot of new stuff (thats actually good) out there in our field...
im sorry for missing the this thread thanks Reg for those kind words i miss talking to you im just very busy now and never have a lot of time to really have a good conversation with someone any more. I miss the old days!!!

Me too man. Me too.....
But if you do ever get a chance though and I'm around, go for it!
