Slow...Yeah, just how the gameplay of the thing works, I think. Bombs take 4 seconds to explode, and if there aren't enough speed ups...Or something like that.
Some of the soundtrack is great, the music for golf and tennis are fitting, thefanfare style shouting fom the baseball works quite well until 15 muinites in and it starts annoying you and the Battle music is OK, allthough the music for the standerd battle s dreadful and...
...is what gives it the slow feeling, you need fast pased music for a battle and it just isnt that
Heh, I was just wondering... How did you do that? I wish I knew how! I'd love to play this game, it looks really neat, is their any guides on how to. And is their a certain format I have to have? (DVD or CD?)
I don't live in Europe nor Japan. This would be the only game I did burn like this and + I don't even have a PS2. I wanted to try it out on my friends. (I don't wanna try getting into importing and all that!)
1) buy a PS2, since your friend probably won't appreciate you ripping open his PS2 and potentially destroying it. You can't play it on your PC, don't listen to anyone who says PS2 emulation exists outside of buggy emulators that run demos and maybe 1 or 2 commercial games with serious graphical flaws and bugs.
2) install a modchip. I don't know what the best one is these days but it's probably a messiah chip. Make sure you know what you're doing or everyone will laugh at you and you'll waste 150 dollars.
3) burn the ISO/BIN+CUE to a DVD- R (NOT +R), preferrably TDK (most reliable in my experience) at 2x or if you have it, 1x (the slower, the better) using Alcohl 120%.
4) insert disc into modded PS2 and play. Make sure to have a seperate memory card for different regions.
5) since you'd be buying a PS2 for the fist time, buy the Ratchet and Clank games to play on it.
Oh, heh. Well, I showed him that post actually, and he wanted to do it! But we won't be able to get the ship, and if we did, he's pretty handy with stuff like that, i'm sure he could do it!
