Over the last year and a half, I have been commissioning a translation of the Bakugaiden animes. They are being worked on by a person named Yume and I have done some additional proofreading as the project went on.
As of the now, the first series is complete in its entirety! It's been a massive effort to which I applaud Yume for their hard work and dedication to the cause.
The bulk of the series will drop on June 3rd (up to episode 44.) The final four episodes and specials will be released on July 1st. The reason for the gap in time is to allow everyone time to watch the show and enjoy it. July 1st will be a Watch Party where everyone can enjoy the ending together. Hopefully we can all bond over this cool moment for the Bomberman fandom.
In addition, from May 29 until June 3rd, we will be celebrating Bomberman Week. I will be releasing some secret videos in the lead up until the series drops. Prepare for more surprises!
I hope you all can join us and celebrate the occasion.
To recap, I revealed several subtitled videos of custcenes from Star Parodier, Bakufuu Sentai Bomberman, and Bomberman Wars. The bonus audio episode of Bomberman Jetters from the Blu-Ray is subbed now as well. Lastly there was the commission of a high quality model of Rukifellth, aptly named Bomberman: The VPS Files.
The series has dropped up to episode 44 as of this moment. They will be archived later on. Don't forget to join us on July 1st for the Watch Party!
Yo dawg I gotta say this is so bomberboss??? I haven't yet gotten to sit down to watch the subs (I watched the series raw with Sakaki/kiirobon/Bomber D. Rufi and he commentated for me), but I'm so stoked that this finally exists and that you're working on V as well. There is not enough bravo for you.
Hi, really appreciate that there's finally a complete English translation for this series, thank you so much!
I've been rewatching the series in raw Japanese to note down story ideas for a potential fan animation sequel movie. Your English sub will be a great help for me!
Btw, would you happen to have the subtitle files in Japanese as well? I'm also trying to learn some Japanese while watching this series and I'm curious to know what exactly they are saying, lol.
What happened to the youtube playlist?
Tried finding it earlier today and only spanish subs appeared, and when i clicked on the link it says the playlist doesn't exist
II think you should upload the videos to nyaa.si so that more people are aware of this and it can get on anime sites because (I think) that's how it gets uploaded everywhere
Hey all. It's no secret by now that Bakugaiden has been taken down from youtube as well as the archive. I spent the afternoon uploading stuff to various links. Take note that the Mega links are the free account and generally get wiped after like a year.
I highly recommend saving the videos yourself if you value them. The only way lost media survives is if you keep it alive so it's worth the cost of a hard drive.
Anyway, I have no plans to return to Youtube after the channel went down. I knew it was a risk going into it but I don't regret it. I'm moving on to other things to fill my time with. The archive account was closed as well, however the uploads are still floating around. Just be diligent in your search and you can still find most of this stuff.
It's also worth noting that Bakugaiden V subs are still in progress. 15 episodes are complete at the moment. Yume is a one man team and it takes a lot of time and effort to complete an episode. Please be patient and I'll be sure to share it once it is complete so don't worry folks.

Thanks for your hard work, it's stuff like this that keeps the community alive and brings in new people decades after the original content has come out.
As of today, 37 episodes are complete for Bakugaiden V subs. I apologize this is taking so long. Yume's situation isn't the best so there's not much we can do for now. It's worth noting, the first 25 episodes were completed using the VHS rips. Around that time was when the higher quality rips were released. Once the series is finshed, the first 25 episodes have to be re-timed to the higher quality rips. May as well release the better quality ones right? Once this series is complete, we will likely go back and re-time the original Bakugaiden episodes. There is no ETA for either of these releases. They will be worked on when they can so please bare with us.
Now that it's been some time, I went back and reuploaded the subbed episodes to a few places. They are on the archive as well as Daily Motion and a newer site called Odysee. Unsure if they will go down again, but for now, here are some options. Hope you guys have enjoyed all the episodes. Let me know what you thought of everything. I'm gonna float off to obscurity but I shall return...whenever, idk lol. Just pissin' in the breeze as usual. Take care folks.
Hi friends. As of today, 47 episodes are complete for Bakugaiden V. We do have to re-time the first 25 episodes (due to the higher quality eps releasing at that time) but we are closing in!
I have briefly mentioned before that Yume's living situation is not the best. He is in a difficult situation and if anyone would like, I started a Gofundme to help him. The subtitles project is already being funded by me so anything donated here goes to help improve his situation.
No worries Striker! It's a tall ask. Your wishes are appreciated!
Also thank you to Sora.
I apologize if this is a bit vague. The situation is complicated and I leave the details up to Yume, when and if they feel comfortable to share them. I will continue to keep people posted on the subtitles project as well as Yume's response. Thank you all <3
