I actually wouldn't mind jumping in a Bomberman game, just as long as the programmers pay better attention to the jump mechanics and control of camera angles so that it's not as wonky as it was in Hero. Anyway, the third screenshot (that kinda looks like a darker version of Horizon) seems to indicate that Bomberman's going to be "jumping" using wind bombs or something.
Assuming that it isn't just side scrolling platforming for mission mode, we may see the return of bomberman being able to jump again like in Hero. Since there's gaps in the ground in the 4th screen by the enemies, and the video didn't show any moving platforms to get across.

I've been waiting for a Bomberman Hero kind of game for YEARS now. Now I know that because of this, I may have my early 3DS Killer ap.
Actually, if anything, it looks more like a Bomberman 64ish kind of game.
But yeah, we're looking at just eight screenshots (half of which shouldn't really be considered since they look like the game's multiplayer). It's hard to say exactly what the single player game's going to be like for sure. For all we know, it could be another Generations flop or an actual awesome game like 64/The Second Attack.
It looks intriguing, I admit. But I'm still pretty hesitate about getting a 3DS. Nothing on it that I really want right now. Not to mention I just don't have money for anything right now, and I still have a number of things I need to get before I'd really consider getting a new console.

Since this topic has been bumped, I guess I might as well give some thoughts on its cancellation. I think it's unfortunate the game was cancelled and it would've been nice if Konami let Hudson Soft finish this game before shutting down all of their projects, but at the same time we knew very little about this game and it might've not been very good. My ultimate hope with Konami acquiring Hudson Soft is the possibility of them making Bomberman relevant again to the general gaming public. If they manage to make Bomberman a big deal again, all will be forgiven. But if they don't announce something more worthwhile than a damn mobile game by the end of 2014, I'll just assume the worst for Bomberman's future.
It's just as legato feared: Bomberman 3DS had been given a Duke Nukem Forever treatment. I gave up my hopes on it last year. Well, crap happens, I suppose.
