I'm new to this forum and I have a question.
Did someone played Bomb Buddies, new Online Bomberman style game for PC? What do you think about it? Can it compete with Bomberman?

All of us know about it, but I don't think anyone here has actually taken the time to play it for some reason or other. I know it LOOKS playable, but I personally have fears for how it's cash shop is set up.

Perhaps in some time I'll actually give it a run through.

A generic freemium clone, playability wise its probably as good as all the recent bomberman battle modes (if it actually works, its better than Bomberman Ultra, which doesn't), i was going to give it a shot but its currently only runs under Windows

I can safely tell you that it is one of those terrible Facebook games where if you don't have money you can only play for a limited amount of time (or unlimited but with severe disadvantages) and anyone who does actually decide to spend money on pointless microtransactions has GIGANTIC advantages over any normal player. The kind of advantage being initqally having 214124215 power-ups before the match even starts. That does cause them to kill them selves a lot though (I actually won a match with no initial power-ups against 4 other people with super speed and 0ver 30 bombs and power because everyone killed them selves in the first half minute). The level design is extremely boring and not very good for Bomberman type gameplay. The limits of the limited time play are that you don't have the standard initial power-ups. The game even INSISTS that you buy 1 speed power up or you will be extremely slow at the start of the match. You need to you use the free money (which you can also buy) to get those power ups but you are only given a certain amount each day and you have to wait after you've used it up otherwise you have to pay.
