Anyone watches shows in that era? I'm fond of a quite a lot of them myself

EG Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry to name cartoons in that time in particular

Hehe those slapsticks...

I generally enjoyed Tom and Jerry as well as a few looney toons, particularly coyote and road runner as a kid but don't hold prominent interest in them today.

Yeah, I watch them when I come by them, and most everyone I know likes them, unlike anime, which means it's probably more "interesting". It's just not something that makes much for a topic of discussion currently. Partially because it's too vast a subject to really talk on, partially because for the most part what people think about it has already been determined, partially because no one ever really talks about stuff that's decades old.

The interesting stories theory was from a famous game maker who said something along the line though that doesn't mean I think it's that interesting at all

Anyways pity really about the lack of attention on shows like Popeye/Looney Tunes/Tom and Jerry are getting now

I mean you don't see much of prominence on this stuff cause its rather old. A lot of people remember the old cartoons and have seen them but liek fireball said most people don't have anything to really discuss.
