Lol. Yeah, I don't think a lot of people did. Don't know why though, I mean, it's one of the few Bomberman games that actually has a lot of dialouge. :P

Here, here's all the relevant text in the game, as well as the Fiendish Bombers' speeches:

Not included: Ending text, and holo-Max speeches. Not sure why. I guess they just didn't really reveal much to the story. I did this last year some time, I think.

Yes, we did. In fact, it was there that we began talking about manuals and found out many things, such as the names of the various bomber groups. Bomber Shitennou/Four Heavenly Bombers, anyone? A great topic, that was.

About this tidbit...

Pretty Bomber: Long time no see, Bomberman... I heard about you from MagnetBomber. Looking for Max? Give it up! Cuz I'm about to take you out! Ha ha ha ha!!! Come here, P. Sea. Show me your power! What?!

Serkol thought it was because she turned into a huge, ugly octopus thing. But she hadn't really turned into one yet when she said that. So I don't know. Possibly lost in translation?

Even though the other one would still be kind of cool as well. We'll see. Time is a precious commodity, of which I am somewhat deprived.

It looks awesome. You know I want to see Pretty Bomber, don't you? XD

Ahem. Lost in translation it seems. I remember a video on NicoNico of the battle against Pretty Bomber. I'll try to find it again later.

In any case, those are the only two Fiendish Bombers there would be. And keep in mind it's heavily a WIP.

So back to translation stuff.

Well, I guess this isn't necessarily translation stuff. But I was searching Google images in Japanese and I came across this:

Is this from the Japanese manual or something? Because it's not in the English manual, and not in the guide. Note how SB4-ish his body looks (being all tiny with long limbs). And the chin has been lengthened, sort of like back in SB2. Also, the emblem is huge, like Brain Bomber's is in the new art. Must have a very different artist now, eh?

The text (aside from "Magnet Dragon") says

変身前 - Before transformation
変身後 - After transformation

Yeah, probably from the japanese manual. The guide has no artwork for our beloved bombers, just the monsters they turn into.

Do want that! Is there more? Maybe a link to the site?

404? That's weird... Well, try this. I found it on a blog. I thought it was a blog from around the time the game got released, but apparantly it's from 2007, so I don't know. Scroll down a bit to the bottom of the post.

There should be others, at least Pretty Bomber (unless the other characters weren't shaded out in the Japanese manual as they are in the English one). Not on that blog though.

AFAIK, she is one of the very few.

She likes to draw a lot of Plasma x Pretty and Brain x Shiro porn doujins, but she also draws normal things.

Yaoi is big in Japan, after all. But really, the Bomberman puking fetish is far more disturbing, in a number of ways.

Anyways, back to the topic... I guess nobody here owns Bomberman Tournament to scan the manuals, huh?
In other news, I really want HiTen Bomberman after reading Takahashi Meijin's blog posts about it.

Yes, I have all of those. Who'd say the Bomberman Tournament original manual would be in my wishlist, huh?

GBA manuals in general are so crappy.
