Yeah, I will wait to see how a North American release pans out, then buy it up whenever the decision is made. With eBay, agents abroad, and random other sites I can buy anything I want eventually with enough patience. But yeah, having less cash for these things is rough. I spent $100 or so a month on cigs for my wife (waiting for her potential jobs to work out), then bills bills bills, then making money last as best I can. That leaves me little for funsies like this, but I pick and choose as best I can.

I am definitely looking forward to playing this version a lot more. :)

Woah... I cannot begin to imagine why you would say that. Super Bomberman 5 is still my favorite (though Custom Battler threatens to top it) whereas Bomberman DS seemed scarcely satysfying to me (though it had potential to be sure).

mainly referring to the story mode.

I'm pretty sure the standard level foes and most of the scenery were just copied and pasted

I'll have to re-get it

Are those the bad Bombers in this game? I heard there were evil Bombers or something of the like.

I'm not sure, I was just looking around for images from the game. The red one made me think or Artemis, and the green/yellow one made me think of Orion, lol.

Funny how everything can set bombs these days.... Oh well, they look kind of neat anyway.

The style of the shades really reminds me of Altair's troops.

Yeah, there is a lot of fun to be had in the game, for those who like this sort of thing. I sat up around 3 something this morning, maybe 4 I don't know. I was barely able to keep my eyes open but not ready to sleep, sitting in bed in the dark, my wife working on her writing and soon to sleep herself. I was playing battle mode against 8 normal difficulty bombers, failing mostly to kill all of them. I usually set the time to 2 minutes, and found often if I didn't somehow kill myself first, that I ran out of time and had a draw match with them. I may have to move to 3 minute matches with 8 AI players on normal difficulty if I am going to beat them often.

I think I am near the end of the second stage I attempted, the left fork from the first stage, not the right fork. I have been focusing on leveling my character and getting all of the pieces out there. The varied number of enemies so far has kept me entertained, and the music just keeps getting better as I go.

I would. Besides, if we get technical, there's no real bombers in this game. Even the starring character is a computer program modeled after the original Bomberman.

there's no nobbly bit on the back of their head, as far as my opinion stands, they need one of those to be labeled a bomber

Yeah, I guess I gotta say, they need an antenna to be a real Bomber.... Although, Max doesn't have one and he's been cybered up into a Bomberman. But I guess that's different. There's kind of like three categories: Bomberman-styled characters, robots/cyborgs who can set bombs (sometimes this is combined with the former category), and other characters who can just set bombs for some unknown reason.

In order to be a rule it has to have exceptions? :P

Kinda. I think that robot or cyborg Bombermen are essentially the same, they're really Bombers, but when they wear the classic helmet people will recognize them more as Bombers, and really there seems to be something distinctly different between Bombers who wear the helmet and Bombers who don't.

Nevertheless, these characters look like worthy Bomberman villains. At least, to me they do.

So long as you guys realize that every character in the game is a computer program (and I mean within the game's story, not just in reality) then all if fine and dandy.

Let us hope we are not all but malware on the world. :(
