1 - Epsilon: You wanna hear the
whole story? Ok...
1 year ago, when
the meteors fell,
a strange tower
appeared. Fantasy
was attacked. Now,
monsters roam the
country. Emeralda
fled Fantasy and
came to Fairy
Palace. The guards
know more. I'd go
ask them...
Some guy came, who
looked like Max,
and the next day a
blizzard set in.
Then the bridge
fell down.
Now, Fairy Palace
is frozen over.
That's all I can
tell you.
2 - Fairy Palace (Soldier): Some years ago,
this planet was
attacked.
We soldiers joined
together and faced
the enemy.
Among us was a
blue-eyed samurai
who went by the
name of Max!
I wish Max were
here now!
Where is he now?
What is he doing?
3 - Plasma Base: Oh! Last week,
some cool guy
dressed in black
came here.
Yeah, his name was
Max...
He knew a lot
about this place
even though he's
never been here.
4 - Fairy Palace (Soldier): Long ago, a
soldier named Max
saved this planet
from destruction.
Maybe he was killed
in an explosion.
Or maybe he went
after the bad guys.
It's all still a
mystery!
Queen Emeralda

5 - Fairy Palace (Soldier 2): We know who
attacked Fantasy
on that day...

6 - Fairy Palace (Skinny Soldier): One of the 4 wise

1 Karabon who can
beat them, so we
found that Karabon
and went into battle.

7 - Fairy Palace (Skinny Soldier 2): When the meteors

We managed to
escape and removed
the medals to keep
them from following
us to the desert,

already there and

That's why we came
to Fairy Palace...
just like so many
years ago...
But they were

In the end, we

while they are

are still monsters
on this planet, it
is still our home.

Not included: Ending text, and holo-Max speeches. Not sure why. I guess they just didn't really reveal much to the story. I did this last year some time, I think.

Yes, we did. In fact, it was there that we began talking about manuals and found out many things, such as the names of the various bomber groups. Bomber Shitennou/Four Heavenly Bombers, anyone? A great topic, that was.

Well, yeah, it is... But I don't really want to say anything about it (at least in public) since, like I said, I may not get anywhere with it. I don't like to talk about projects of any kind out in the open unless I'm sure that I'm going to finish them. But, due to the more different nature of this particular project, it may end up replacing the old one (acronym TB). They're both Bomberman-related, but this one might be more awesome. Even though the other one would still be kind of cool as well. We'll see. Time is a precious commodity, of which I am somewhat deprived.
Is this from the Japanese manual or something? Because it's not in the English manual, and not in the guide. Note how SB4-ish his body looks (being all tiny with long limbs). And the chin has been lengthened, sort of like back in SB2. Also, the emblem is huge, like Brain Bomber's is in the new art. Must have a very different artist now, eh?

404? That's weird... Well, try this. I found it on a blog. I thought it was a blog from around the time the game got released, but apparantly it's from 2007, so I don't know. Scroll down a bit to the bottom of the post.
There should be others, at least Pretty Bomber (unless the other characters weren't shaded out in the Japanese manual as they are in the English one). Not on that blog though.

You forget Dark Zaphe, we are talking of Brain Bomber here. So it's not simply male x male, it's regular male x creepy mad scientist with a bionic eye male.
