Whoops, looks like that's my fault as an editor for not catching that properly. I didn't look at the text close enough and assumed that there was a reason he went for the specific Bomberman reference. (I was very tired and so was he.) I'll go change it.
EDIT: The Lewisia/Rewishia reference might even extend to the curlicues in her hair, since Rewishia has something similar. And also they're both blue-themed.

We're out of the loop too, unfortch. I can try having BDR ask around on his Twitter or something. It's a good question...Bombergirl does seem a little involved for being "just" an arcade game, but I'm out of my depth when it comes to arcade culture. |
