Thanks for commenting on this. I always appreciate feedback on my works. I'm glad you loved the new Planet Inferno, it has always been a favorite and I wanted to be faithful to the original.
Unfortunately, because the beeps from Thrashin' Tundra are on the Triangle channel, I cannot adjust its volume due to the NES's hardware limitations. It may be just that I might have to remove those notes from that channel entirely. I'll look it over. I could try to add in its place some of the other beats from the source BGM if I did.
And by the koto you are referring to like the instrument I use for the bass right at the beginning of Thrashin' Tundra? If so that's the result of me utilizing the FDS's extra music channel. It took me a while to figure it out and after some experimentation I came up with that. Maybe one day I'll share it on the Famitracker site. lol
After reading the radio comment, I just noticed that I had the sample rate set at 22k hertz (which is around radio quality). It sounds much clearer now that I've set it to 44k (which is around CD quality) |
