I'm guessing maybe it's a reference to the TurboGrafx-16's release date in August 1989? His description calls him "an American-born cyborg!" after all.
(also, some of the names feel either really stupid or really offensive - like Bonnessa Sauerkraut and Bom Tacos. there's also a skin called Police Miniskirt Bomber, and it is exactly as classy as you think it is) |
