ここでは'97年のJBA認定競技を5種目紹介しよう。

マイビーダマンエディット

画面上で自分だけのビーダマン
が作れます。体や手足の色と顔
の表情を選んで、君だけのオリ
ジナルビーダマンで友達と一緒

マイビーの作り方

まず最初に、エディットモードでマイビーダマン
を選びます。

ドクロモードを「ON」にしておくと、ドクロ
パネルが出現します。さわったビーダマンを病
気にしてしまいます。
病気は3種類。直す方法は、他のビーダマンに
ビー玉をぶつけてうつすだけです。

B-Daman ladies and gentlemen across the country! It has been long-awaited! B-Daman makes its appearance on the Super Famicom!! For Normal Mode and Battle

Mode, I'll tell you how to play!

In Normal Mode, fire B-Damas at the bombs that appear! How many explode determines your victory or loss. Try the Big B-Da, buddy!

Battle Mode is a game for 4 competing players! Have fun striking your B-Da friends! Now, what's your B-Da level, buddy? Try to challenge everyone!

How to Play （Basic Mode）

L+R+A Button

Tighten both hands with the L+R+A buttons.

L+A Button

With the L+A buttons, tighten only the left hand.

R+A Button

With the R+A buttons, tighten only the right hand.

Cross Key

Moves the B-Daman left and right. The up and down keys are not used. Select modes.

START

Choose a mode, pause.

A・B・X・Y Button

Fire a B-Dama.

L Button+A Button is "Tighten One Hand" (Curve left)
R Button+A Button is "Tighten One Hand" (Curve right)
L Button+R Button+A Button is "Tighten Both Hands"
※L・R Button will change up to 2 grades depending on how long you press them.

How to Play

Bomb

Explodes when hit with a B-Dama. The range of the explosion varies by type (size), and other bombs in the blast radius will also detonate.

Outer Wall

Encloses the whole stage, B-Damas that hit it will explode.

B-Daman

The character who the player manipulates. You can move left and right and shoot B-Damas.

B-Dama

You can fire 1 shot per 1 level from your B-Daman, when it hits a bomb it will explode.

Beginning the Game

●Insert the cassette, and turn the power ON, and the title screen appears.

When you press the START button, it will change to the mode selection screen. When you play for the first time, select Normal Mode to begin a new game.

If you leave it be for a while without pressing the START button, Dr. Tamano will teach you how to play.

One Point Advice

Notice the B-Daman title screen! If you look at it, at a glance, it will show your level in the Normal Mode, buddy. If you reach the highest level, you can

show off to everyone!

If there is save data in the Normal Mode, you can resume Normal Mode with Continue. You can also start over from the beginning with a new game while keeping

your ranking data.

Watch the movements of the bombs in the preview, then challenge.

One Point Advice

Leave a High Score with the Continue!

Normal Mode results remain in the save data. Choose Continue to save only the results you want to keep. Keep trying until you get the high score that you

want, buddy!

It's important to watch the preview so you can see how B-Damas will come into the field, which bomb to attack, and find the winning method!

How to Play Normal & Duel Mode

Use the cross key to move your B-Daman left and right, aim at the bombs that appear on the screen and use the A, B, X, or Y button to fire a B-Dama! Bombs

that are in the range of the explosion will also detonate.

The movement of the bombs throughout the screen is fixed. You only have one B-Dama to shoot, so fire with good timing!

One Point Advice

Try for Perfect with Efficient Bomb Chains!

If there is another bomb within range of a bomb explosion, it will also detonate. Skillfully bring them down in 1 shot with a chain!

Each stage has levels 1 through 10, altogether there are 100 levels. Challenge a level you like, and your high score will determine your ranking (a perfect

score is 100 points).

Use the Tighten Technique to Skillfully Fire B-Damas!

Tighten out! Hold parts of the B-Daman with your fingers to use this powerful shot technique! The speed of the B-Dama will be greater. With the B-Daman in

this game, you can experience the "Tighten Technique"!

Normal Mode

First, decide how to attack with the preview

You can see how the bombs come in to the stage once before the challenge begins. Figure out how to get a perfect 100 points with this preview. The challenge

may be taken 2 times, but this number can be changed in the Option Mode. You can cancel the preview with the A button.

One Point Advice

It's alright if you make a mistake, you can retry with the Start button. However, if you rely too much on this, you won't progress!

Duel Mode

Two players alternate in a game of endurance. Choose a level in which to alternate play, and compete for the number of perfects! Whoever gets the most

perfect scores will become the Master Capture King.

Further improve your skills by having showdowns with your friends!

The duel showdown plays fairly and squarely. Naturally, the order of turns is also fair. After PLAYER 1 has failed and PLAYER 2 has cleared, the order will

then be reversed.

An indoor arena with Bombermen spectating. Learn the basic controls and explosion patterns here!

Forest Stadium

A forest stage with cute animals watching over. But don't be unprepared. Tree stumps will block your B-Dama's path.

Beach Stadium

Fire B-Damas at this summer beach! The courses of bombs have become quite complex.

You can make your own B-Daman on this screen. Choose the color of its body, hands and feet, and its facial expression, then fight together with your friends

using your own original B-Daman!

How to make My B

First, select my B-Daman in Edit Mode.

Select the color of my B-Daman's body with the cross key, decide with the A Button.

Similarly, select the color of my B-Daman's hands and feet, and decide with the A Button.

Choose a facial expression. Between the body, hands and feet, and face, you can make 1,176 different B-Daman patterns.

Finally, decide if this is good. If you want to start over, you can make it again if you choose No.

Battle Mode

Compete with up to 4 people!

You can play battle dodgeball with B-Damans in this special mode. You can only play JBA Dodgeball in this game!

Furthermore, in this mode, you can rapid-fire 2 B-Damas. Keep watch of your opponents and try to crush your rivals! Up to 4 people can play. Of course, it's

also OK to choose computer opponents to play against.

Shows the remaining time of the battle.

Shows each B-Daman's score. Increases by 1 point when an opponent is hit, and decreases by 1 point when you are hit.

About Custom Parts!?

When Custom Parts are turned "ON", power-up parts appear during the 2nd match. If you win, you can try to win the Roulette. There are 3 types of parts, as

shown below. If you are hit with another player's B-Dama, they will steal your parts.

B-Da Blade

B-Daman's movement speed up!

Giant Bomb

You can use giant B-Damas. Their explosions are larger.

Power Wing

B-Dama speed up.

About Skulls!?

When Skull Mode is "ON", Skull Panels will appear. A B-Daman who touches one will become sick. There are 3 types of diseases. In order to be cured, hit

another B-Daman with a B-Dama to infect them.

A B-Daman suffering from a disease will flash.

Reverse Disease

The up, down, left, and right cross keys will be reversed.

Slow Disease

The speed of B-Damas will be slower.

Slow-Footed Disease

Movement will be slower.
