Heh. Same here with one of their own franchises: Contra, if you will...

I know what it feels like, and I've been there. Konami nowadays is all about Metal Gear Solid (no offense, it was a good franchise despite that I never played much of it), Pro Evolution Soccer, and perhaps Castlevania.
