The first picture is photoshopped, and the bomberman picture is obviously fake based on the most recent real character selection screen pictures. I've read that the final character still hasn't been unlocked yet, but people are most likely sure who it is- and we should have a picture soon.

Do you have a screenshot of the official roster, or was it just leaked as a character list? I don't really hang around on gaming forums besides this board and the TSA GameFAQs board.

I no longer believe in Bomberman in Brawl after looking at that second picture. It's fake, and they just used the Bomberman Land Wii art.
Lets not forget that White Bomber was previously a main character in a japanese-only fighting game called Dreamworld Tv fighters, which used licensed characters from Hudson,Konami and Takara,you know,that game with Optumis Prime from transformers, and that game also had Snake from metal Gear solid as well as simon belmont from castlevania.
so I say Bomberman's chances for Brawl are at least 50-50.
I know it's out and all now, but I never really expected Bomberman to be in Brawl due to several reasons such as popularity.
He likely would have been among the most unique characters in Brawl like Olimar or the Ice Climbers. I easily see a move-set that would be unique and work for him. It would've been interesting to see him, but I guess we can live with it since we got 3 new games recently.
