Kinda ironic that after all these years of putting his life on the line, he gets killed while doing something that wasn't as dangerous as chasing crocs.

I loved his show... I saw every episode and he was an amazing man with his love to the animals...

I haven't watched very much of his show, but he did plenty of things that took quite a bit of guts to do.

It's always cool people like him that die when it's least expected.

My teacher was talking about this in school today, like Ao said kinda ironic that after all those years of putting his life on the line he gets killed by a stingray I mean that link Ao put up said only 2 similar deaths have been reported in Australia...

Yeah, I heard this on Labor Day morning.... it sucks. I honestly didn't think he'd ever get killed by anything, I thought he'd retire eventually and just die from old age. I can't figure it.... doesn't make sense that he died from a STINGRAY, isn't there, what, 17 reported cases ever of deaths caused by stingrays in the entire world? Something like that....

Oh, and I heard they're trying to use the "footage" in a biography about Steve Irwin.... Anyone else hear this? I don't know if I could watch it.... Seriously....
