Thanks to the efforts of me and my fellow admin Bermuda, we have really overhauled the Bomberman wiki. I've put a lot of time and effort into this and the more I work on it the more work I find needing to be done. It's a large task to accumulate as much knowledge as possible on one game series.
I've added a lot of images from Ragey's scans and all the screenshots I uploaded I took myself. As much as I'd like some of you guys here to help, I ask you at least take a look and scan over things; give me some feedback. I want to try and stimulate the american fanbase as much as possible and maybe someday we'll get another awesome Bomberman title.
Wow, it's changed a lot since I was last there. It's looking really good!
I skimmed over several pages and I remembered something that has been bugging me for a long time. Somebody started using the "Enemy Characters" category incorrectly a long time ago - it was meant for the articles that are now apparently filed under "Monsters" (In the Japanese manuals, the monsters are referred to as "Enemy Characters"; I can understand the confusion).
Anyway, it seems kind of redundant to keep it around anymore, since there's a new category that has replaced it, and you've got a category for Villains.
Just a minor suggestion.
I'd help out, but I'm pretty busy now. Good luck with the wiki!
Yeah there are excessive categories for any character that is considered "evil." I'm thinking about deleting the enemy characters altogether and just using the monsters in its stead. A lot of the bosses are marked as villains as well but some of them are just bosses lol. It's a bit of a mess so I'll be sure to work on that.
This is not the point of the Japanese text. It is there because the names were originally written in Japanese (example Wikipedia page). But I'm sure you already know this; just making the case.
Anyway, I'd highly suggest that somebody root through all of his contributions and clean them up.

That's one of the major problems with a Wiki; any schmuck can add anything they want to a page, regardless of how true or relevant it may actually be. Interesting to see this type of thing on a Bomberman wiki of all places though.
I read through them for the lawlz, and that Journey game sounds so fake it's hilarious. The artwork (if we can even call it that) looks like something from MS Paint, it's like they didn't even try for that.

Recent stuff I'm into:
Watching: A Certain Scientific Railgun (ep.14, stalled), Hoshi no Kirby (ep. 71, stalled), Nazo No Kanojo X (ep. 8), Acchi Kocchi (ep. 8)
Reading: nothing
The good thing about wikis, is they track edits, and you can just revert changes, and you can block bad editors. But that's only if you have a good enough community in place.
Lol, I KNEW there was something wrong with that "Bomberman Journey" thing. I often look the new updates of the Bomberman Wikia and It's really sad to see how some of the users don't take seriously all the work that means editing a wiki .__.

Yes, that resumes my thoughts about the artwork xD
Even if it's annoying to see how that user put those russian names as important facts like had more value than othertranslated names, Isn't a bad idea to put a list of the character's names in other languages bellow the article, like the Super Mario Wiki does http://www.mariowiki.com/Boomer_%28Pixl%29. Just as fun facts.
But not all the characters could have that feature as they appears in Bomberman games exclusively released in Japan.
Yeah, he snuck his little fanfiction details into a bunch of pages. He has made some legitimate revisions, such as correcting grammar here and there.
As for listing names in multiple languages, well, those enemies from Super Bomberman 4 and such were not even released outside of Japan. Which means that he wasn't even citing manuals or guides, he was just making his own translation. Also, that stuff would have to go at the bottom of the pages, not at the top in the opening paragraphs. That just clutters things and is really unnecessary.
That was I meant, a list of the names in various languages BUT bellow the article. And official names, not given names by fans.
I don't know, maybe it's useless, maybe not.
