Great work for your sprites 1000 Ping Man, Usatun and SailorBomber,
Do you think create the characters of Bomberman 64: The Second Attack now (The Astral Knights) ?
I found a small bug in the stage 17 (Out of Time) with the variation D, the 4 players at the center appears on a block and gets stuck on the left or right:
I found that if you use the Rubber Bomb and Super Power Glove to make a Dangerous Bomb, the Dangerous Bomb will bounce around like a Rubber Bomb. Haven't checked if it'll bounced when kicked though, I think.

So it's basically a Super Dangerous Bomb. That is kind of awesome, in a terrifying sort of way.

It's a Hybrid Bomb, when a Rubber Bomb and a Dangerous Bomb fall in love...
And that's about as far as I got with that fanfiction before I got writers block.

I'm not sure how it produces a hybrid bomb if there's a rubber involved.
- slow mode option for online mode - easier to play with input lag
- Sirius is now playable in Battle Mode
- Tri Bomb Up, Tri Fire Up and Tri Speed Up items added
- stage variant H of "Field of Glory" received item changes
- bugfixes
Thanks for the quick reports, released a quick fix; time up works in Online now. Download the patch if you've downloaded the game already, I apologize for the trouble.

I like hybrid bombs that are dangerous, and by the way, if you use the '' Super Power Glove '' and bombs as '' Rubber Bomb '', '' Bubble Bomb '', '' Remote Control '' and '' Tracing Bomb '' generates a large explosion, but retains their initial skills.
I used the '' Super Power Glove '' with '' Remote Control '', and power is fused in an incredible way.
Hybrid should make bombs, as a '' Rubber Dangerous Bomb '', or one of my favorites, one '' Cherry Remote Control '', would make the most interesting battles.
If anyone would like to make these bombs, there I leave some sprites to have the design idea, thanks.
Hybrids are a tough subject. I don't want to outright say it will never be a thing, but this could involve a lot of work - there are currently 11 types of bombs in the game. Also, Dangerous Bomb sprite is definitely not something I'm proud of, since it's just a D on a gray bomb ;p
This new version is awesome! You're the best Jaklub :D.
I've still yet to try out online mode, but that was my most anticipated feature. It seems like my request for the tons of items in the middle (and another with them on the outside) gimmick made it in? :3.
Here's some things I haven't seen (you probably know of them), just as a list. I checked the Turbografx, Super Nintendo, and main DS Games. I might check some other emulatable games in the future.
Super Bomberman 1:
- Regular Pipes, from Stage 6. I've only seen them in Wide mode for some reason? Or am I mistaken? Don't care much for it, but it wouldn't be too hard to put in.
- The lawn mowers, from Stage 8. They come from the top and go to the bottom, they cut away the soft blocks on the way and if there's bombs they shove them around with them. They're kinda cool, but I don't mind missing 'em that much.
(P.S. Also, there's jump pads that work differently from the trampolines in Power Bomberman, just noting)
Super Bomberman 2:
- Slippery Ice, From stage 2 This one also has a specific style of warp holes that's hard to explain, which are fun too. Slippery Ice would be great!
- Oil Lines from stage 4. If a bomb explosion touches the line of oil, it will also catch on fire for a moment. I'd really like this one to make it in!
- A variant on the roof's that obstruct the view in which they switch between see through and solid like in stage 5. Eh, too subtle, unimportant.
- Instant colored portals like in stage 6. There could even be a variant where the portal only works on a bomb's explosion. I actually find my variant a more interesting one.
- A conveyor belt variant with a button that allows you to change it's direction, from stage 8. Stopping the belt already seems to be in PB, although it's done in a different manner. Subtle one.
- Jumping + reappearing soft blocks from stage 10. In this stage, everyone gets a jump button, allowing them to hop around over all the hard and soft blocks. Meanwhile, mushrooms(the soft blocks) can grow back after being destroyed. Sounds like it'd be a bit hard to add the jumping but this stage was a super fun black sheep. Could at least go for re-appearing soft block's, I like them.
Super Bomberman 4:
- Rolling Balls (Stage 3). Two ball thing's roll across the map, and when they touch you you lose items. Okay I guess.
- Being able to fall off a cliff (stage 4). It takes a while before you fall off. Eeeh. Could be put on one of the Out of Touch level's.
- I've never actually played it but I read there's a hidden stage in which a flag spawns which you can carry, and if your flag is bombed you will also die. Not sure how that would play out at all?
Super Bomberman 5:
- Also never played it, but Hidden Stage 11 has warps around the border, as opposed to in the map itself. Could be a nice variant.
Bomberman DS/Land Touch:
- Spikes. Hard Blocks are replaced by blocks you can walk on. However, spikes will come out at certain times. I'd love to have this one.
- The Inferno Stage. This is the one where there are only soft blocks. I like this one just because it messes with the very fundamentals of Bomberman.
- Mystery. You can't know what items you get. Eh.
- Game mode: Crown race. Just...Get to the crown spot, and you win. Would only really work on wide, and everyone spawning on one side, as this is made with starting at the bottom of the bottom DS screen in mind. Still, it's kind of a lame mode but it might be fun in practice? I don't really remember playing it.
- Game Mode: Blocks (King of the Hill). Your explosions will color the ground. Cover as much of the ground with your color. Eh. There's even a zombie version where you can't die.... We're not going to add game modes in the near future anyways, right?
- Bom Bom has 1 tile bomb spawning blocks, as opposed to the big one in the middle we have now. Subtle difference, doesn't matter much.
Bomberman DS 2/Touch 2 (I'd need to get my two DS's and put Bomberman 2 on a flashcart and the real bomberman 2 on the other DS to test what the versus mode has to offer, soo not touching that one):
Game Mode: Stars. Just, collect stars. No.
Game Mode: Escape. Don't remember what this one was, sounds pretty lame.
Thanks for posting. Yeah, there are some stage gimmicks that weren't covered yet, I'll probably eventually get on many of these, though open-space ones (without a hard block grid) are unlikely to appear.
Also, "Out of touch" already has the fall-off gimmick.
Thanks for the reply! I'm glad you'll get to many of those, that would make it the ultimate/definitive battle mode bomberman game in existance.I'd really love to see the slippery ice, Oil lines , spikes and jumping/reappearing blocks in there! (And the mowers are pretty cool too).
It' quite impressive how much of this game you've made entirely on your own!
Wait, it does have that fall gimmick? Oh my, how did I not test that when loading all the levels? :o. Well, never mind my comment on that then :P.
Reappearing soft blocks are sorta already a thing in the stone garden stage.
Also, to add to that list, there's a stage with trap doors that work like warp portals but are consistent and sort of retain the velocity of what was thrown in (so throwing a bomb directly into it would make the bomb fly out of the other trap door with the same strength and proper direction) and walking over the trapdoors fast enough will prevent you from falling in.
Game modes:
Stars: from hardball; bombing each other causes stars to fly out of opponents and finishing the round with the most of them makes you win. Everyone has infinite lives and getting hit while having stars will cause them to lose stars equal to the amount that flies out.
Timer: getting bombed will give you a timer. Bombing opponents exetends your timer and gives them a timer. Touching opponents will tag them and give them your timer. If both opponents have a timer they will just swap timers.
Problem with both of these modes is that they rely hitting opponents with explosions a lot and would require a higher chaos factor since a lot of the time in normal matches you can have AIs not dying all the way to the end of sudden death. I guess part of the reason for that also is that AIs don't really take advantage of having massive amounts of bombs and speed the way Hardball opponents do (they lay bombs all over the grid in a neat pattern as fast as their speed ups allow).
That timer mode sounds fun. I wonder where my copy of Hard Ball is..
Seems like I didn't check the garden enough to see the blocks reappearing! After all, re-appearing blocks only got on my mind after listing all the Bomberman gimmicks.
Thanks for posting. I'll be looking into covering some other battle stage gimmicks in the future; game modes are not out of question, but it's a complicated addition, no guarantee here.

My friend, we made the Mighty of sprite.
His name is presto☆ROA.
It is apparently sent by e-mail, but you write once again.
Also, Metal Bomber sprite was completed.
Since Bomber Kid sprite was also modified, please use this.
I apologize for not replying earlier, I must've forgotten it. Big thanks for your continued contribution.
Hey Jaklub, I'm trying multiplayer with a friend. He can connect, but when it starts, my friend gets stuck on waiting for players, while for me the match begins. Then my friend either suicides or becomes a com, and just as that happens he says the game sometimes starts for him. 0.o.
