Man, I think I've played this so much that my playtime for this has topped all other Bomberman games combined and kicking bombs and not having them knock other bombs away really throws me off.
A suggestion. Would it be better to have it so that explosions had travel time like in Saturn Bomberman and some of the other Bomberman games? (Not quite sure which ones do, it'd also be nice if somebody would be so kind as to list them :P)
EDIT: If it became like that, I guess it would mean also making bombs reacting in chain reactions instant to avoid making the delay for chain explosions too long. Also, not sure if you've fixed it yet in the last update the but the bug where kicking bombs sometimes causes bombs to make rapid kicking noises when you're carrying something and the bomb sprite suddenly being in your torso still happens. I also found that it's possible to walk through kicked bombs and to pick up kicked bubble bombs. It MIGHT be possible to pick up kicked bombs of other types with precise timing but I haven't been able to do it. I assume you can if walking through normal kicked bombs is possible.
I am glad to hear you're still enjoying the game out there

The explosions actually do have some travelling lag like in Saturn Bomberman since 0.3.1, but it's very low. It's noticeable in Wide stages, but I might make it slower, since it's still pretty difficult to react to a power bomb placed in the opposite corner of the stage if you weren't paying attention to it.
I know Bomberman World had some extreme explosion travel time, there must have been some other games as well but don't remember them right now. Bomberman World also had kicked bombs launching other kicked bombs if they bumped into them; this worked in Saturn Bomberman too, but only if you picked up 2 Kick items.

I don't think I investigated the glitch where the game would attempt to kick a carried bomb yet, I will definitely look into that one. I will also lock out picking bombs that are still in motion from being kicked, thanks for bringing that up.
I've been tad busy with various stuff lately, but with the schedule becoming less clogged up I'll whip something up rather soon, I'll keep you updated for sure.
Heya, I found a bug!
If you run into a trampoline while riding a bomb(detonator) you will keep bouncing in the same direction until the item automatically wears off.
Good sir, can I have an template to make player characters and different Bomberman Designs and Sprites used in the various games? I may even make Act Zero Version of each of the colored bombermen but no body will take them seriously because they all laugh at the Act Zero Bombers. (You can guess why.)

Hey man, the Act Zero Bombers looked pretty sweet. Really cool advancement in Bomber design.
And also I am thinking that you could add in Atomic Bomberman voices as a option? You know along with a parental switch and password to keep kids from hearing the vulgar stuff? I think all of the atomic bomberman voices should be in a made up Sound archive. What would be a good three to five letter extension for the voice packs that with a specifically made program will allow you to make your own packs for this game?
Hi. Here's the base sheet, I posted this some pages ago.
+ 3 16x16 head icons (normal/sad/happy) are used for HUD stuff.
Note that I give no warranty Act Zero Bombermen will end up in the game lmao

Atomic Bomberman's artstyle was distinctly different from that of Japanese-made Bomberman games. The commentary thing helped it stand out, but IDK if it would work here.
jaklub you should make a way of putting this site on google to people see and find it better and to this site be more famous, like everytime they search on google bomberman, they dont see this site... but see bomberman online world, and this is why i think that game is famous, so you should make a way to make announcement of the game to people of the world!

It´s not that easy. Bomberman is a dead game. People likes new games. I know how it sucks...
First I want to thank you for this great Clones, better even than Saturn Bomberman, which was for me the best Bomberman,
I only have a little problem, I have every time I restart the game, I must set again the gamepads (Xbox) from the players 2 to 8, otherwise the gamepad 1 which controls all players.
Would it be possible to modify that so that the gamepad numbers are distinguished in the config file and taken into account in the config game ?
File with 8 XBox pad => Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows) for all
Thanks for posting. I can't test more than 1 pad myself and had 4 tested by someone else; I'll make sure the pad IDs are saved properly in the next release
Hey, I haven't read the entire thread, but I really dig the game and play it a lot.
My only complaint is that the revenge bomber takes a little too long before you're able throw a second bomb. In all other Bomberman games that feature revenge the bombs take just long enough to replenish to where if you throw the 2nd bomb as soon as you're able to, it will chain the explosion with your first bomb.
Revenge bomber isn't that fun without this mechanic
otherwise this game is so good! I love it so much!
