Around here, we only need one lair of snow to get a snow day... but we havent gotten any yet.   Then again, i wont be surprised if this year wont get to see a single snow flake.

It's so hard to get a snow day here.. We have to have like 10 inches of snow and a ton of ice on the roads for the stupid Super Intendent to give us a day off.

as for snow day i don't think I've had an official one in years. Sometiems my mom jsut let's me stay home if its bad enough.

10 inches... thats alot... actually... ours is pretty hard... it has to snow about six after raining for that. (so the roads just freeze completly), but its hard to beat one of the nations main salttowns with ice.

A few days ago we got some rain then very little snow at the end that there wasn't any of it left by morning.

A single inch is all it takes for us to get a snow-day.

Theres no such thing as a snow day here, but i think we had an earthquake day back when i was in elementary school i dont remember

heh i remember last year having a fire day cause the mountains all over where i live was burning like heck and ashes were falling down at the school so we had a week off since the fire smoke could been smelt all over the place, and alot of people have asthma and could pass out.

Pulling down fire alarms can get you into alot of trouble you know. this happened at my old school about 4 times done by the same person. (i think it was a girl)
