The western art for the inside of the box is neat, but I can't help but feel that they did it to avoid having to rework the Japanese art to translate it all.

Oh... they will. Spoilers are hard to avoid nowadays, aren't they?
Sadly another bomberman game that will lose their players fast.
We finally need a competitive bomberman online game for the PC that runs on Steam so that it can maintain mass of players over a long time period. It should have a leveling system, lootboxes, a creative onlineshop without P2W items etc.
Nobody of todays game creators (doesn't matter if clones or original) can't get the character speed + time until bomb explode right, these two things are extremly important for competitive play. Just 1 online bomberman game has achieved this so far.
A huge pile of money is waiting for nearly 2 decades that someone grabs it, but nobody so far has.
Plasma Bomber looks awesome. I totally didn't expect his likes/dislikes though.
I'm surprised that they didn't change Green Bomber's likes to "burgers" instead, as they did in the intro cutscene. It's weird because it makes me feel like these bio cards are being translated, and yet there are apparently no Japanese versions being posted...
Game modes page added to the official website, here, with light details on the plot and that "more than 50 stages" thing again. Also, confirmation that the siblings are indeed called the Bomberman Rangers.
Oh, and names for all the default battle mode stages.
I really like Magnet's redesign. Plasma's too. Definitely more attention to detail than before.
Also, as a random note, I was on Konami's Japanese Twitter account to check something and their most recent tweet at the time started with "Ohayou Konamimasu."
