Wow! I can't believe two months have gone by! lol
I haven't been watching as much as usual lately and my previous season was quite light. I've been really focusing on games lately. Maybe I'll make a game post later...
But I'll go ahead and give an anime update...
~Fall 2012 Results~
Sword Art Online -

Started off pretty great, but then it continuously dropped off some and picked back up a little as time went on. I'm satisfied with how this season ended. I don't feel like I'm forced to watch more if I'm not up to it. It had its own nice conclusion per say. It hasn't covered all the material of the original light novels though and it's probably going to continue later on.
I probably would consider watching another season since I love Miyuki Sawashiro and she's supposed to play the next main girl. However I wouldn't be going in with high hopes.
Chitose Get You! -

and Chibi Devi -
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=8645
Shorts series that I probably wouldn't recommend unless you dig that kind of thing, like i do. They aren't long enough to grow to love or hate. They are simply a short waste of time.
Chitose is done airing now. It's jokes were VERY hit or miss. Sometimes I got a good laugh others I just kind of shook my head and wondered why I was still watching it....
Chibi Devi is ongoing. Thankfully Chibi Devi is the better of the two, heh. It's cute and sometimes funny. I recently realized of I've been watching this show for over a year now. I've been in it for the long haul. It looks like it'll be at least 50 episodes. Currently at 40...
The Pet Girl of Sakurasou -
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9153
I'm enjoying this one so far. It's going to continue into the next season. It's not anything amazing or revolutionary though. It uses a lot of old romance-comedy tropes but J.C. Staff really pulled it off well this time. It's pretty solid. I might just really like the characters though. Liking the characters will help the show grow on you a lot.
~Side Projects~
There were a number of series I've finished in the past couple months.
Boogiepop Phantom -

This can be hard to follow and the animation feels a bit dated, but it's still enjoyable. The atmosphere keeps your attention and it's fun trying to figure out whats going on.
Sakura Diaries -
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=138
Kind of a trashy ecchi show with a douchebag male lead. I liked the main girl though and got some laughs out of it. From what I've read on the net, the manga gets terribly dark farther then the anime covers.
Also my cousin and I are slowly crawling through....
.Hack//Roots -
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4324
It has nice music and animation but it's a total bore-fest! I wouldn't recommended it except to perhaps die hard .Hack// fans. There's tons of still frames and super indecisive characters and nothing really progressing. It could've easily told the same story in 1/3rd of the total episodes....

So I'm glad you've enjoyed Tsukihime and Kanon Hienfan. Two of my favorite shows.
Tsukihime was great when I watched it years ago. I've always been curious about the VN but I've never taken the time to check it out for myself. Someday I'm sure. Hisui was one of my favorite characters. Akiha was my least favorite. She always annoyed me.
Kanon 2006 is also fantastic. I'll eventually watch the original version as well to check out the differences in adaptation. My favorite arcs were Ayu and Shiori. Makoto would probably be my 3rd.
I've had the first half of Clannad on my shelf for awhile now and I'm looking forward to it. I've been holding off so I can watch Air first. the first of Kyoto's 3 Key adaptations.

I fear if I watch Clannad first I won't enjoy Air as much,as Air looks a bit aged in comparison. I'm also a bit worried that Clannad is probably one of the last great Romance Drama Anime left out there that I haven't watched yet... So I've been saving it. lol
