Curious, what did you use to make this? Looks like something you either painted or used prisma markers or something like that.
Adobe Photoshop CS2, like the majority of my work nowadays. If I could get results like that using Real Live Paints, I'd be a happy Sora. As it is, the digital medium allows me a way bigger margin of error when it comes to dealing with colors and blending. ;P This particular picture is me trying to remind myself how to do things after a long art drought, and usually what happens with those kinds of pictures is that I end up experimenting and discovering new things about my workflow. This other picture, of Soraverse!Nitros and his twin sister Dyna, is another example of that (in this particular case I specifically blended the hard outlines instead of trying to render the figures as faux 3D - it's my compromise between a slaphappy painterly style and a cleaner, hard-edged animanga style).
lol, awesome. Some human form Molok action? Got plans for any more of the other knights? Particularly the girls?
...................................
More particularly, any Zoniha stuff in the works? I don't think I've ever seen you do a full fledged color pic of Zoniha yet. Unless perhaps I've missed it? I have seen some cute sketches here and there.
@Regulus777: I've done this portrait of Zoniha, but she's not in her knight uniform. I've had plans for a while to paint Zhael in her knight uniform but I haven't come up with a good pose yet.
I also really wanted to illustrate human!Ashtarth in his persona as the Channeler of Philomel, but again, I don't have a good pose in mind plus I need to work on background ideas plus I'd really also want to paint Procne but she needs a better design. XD
@Duke Serkol: Yeah, IDK, the forum doesn't show up as being updated on the main page. o_O Thanks for the comments though.
ah! nice pic. It's been awhile since I've looked through your deviant page. I just had to say I enjoyed a lot of the stuff you've got over there that you haven't posted here. I saw you did a lot of the other knights in the same way you did Molok. Pretty cool! Even the non bomberman stuff was pretty awesome. I'm also a big Tales of fan.
Backstory: I had a New Year's Eve Eve party with a couple of friends, and one of them mixed together a pomatini for me. It was very yummy, but because I am a loser who has a Bomberbrain without an off switch (...and possibly because I was already drunk), I decided that pomatini sounded suspiciously like Pommytini, hence this half-assed sketch.
(...lol, does this count as inappropriate content because of the booze? XD)

It's fine, the rules are just there to keep things in basic order. They sound stricter then they're meant to be, there's lots of leeway for many of them. Alcohol doesn't fall under inappropriate anyway, pictures of some things that people may do when under the influence may however.

Darn I keep missing this subforum's updates... anyway, the water bomb sketch is sheer genius, and the new Nitros artwork goes beyond awesome

It does show the sub-forum updated on the main page, the little icon next to the sub-forum will be marked as new. But the bomb for the forum that's holding the sub-forum won't be marked as new, nor will the latest post info to the right of the forum section be updated with it.
I recommend the 'View posts since last visit' link on the front page of the forum for checking new posts. Instead of you manually just looking for newly posted in sections, this feature will show all of the new posts that were made since your last visit to the forum- and any new ones made while you're browsing the forum too.
Sometimes when you're opening new windows to the forum, that visit session will be lost and any new posts will be marked off as read. So that's where the 'View recent posts since' link comes in, which let's you choose a time frame that posts were made within. Also sometimes when I check the forum real quick when I'm out, this feature is nice because I don't need to be logged in to use it.
