And I've heard of Super Smash Flash, in that I know that it is a thing that exists, but I don't remember having ever played it.

As for DreamMix, it's like Smash Bros only in that it's a fighting game and in that it combines characters from different franchises, and the owners of those franchises were involved. Dragon Bomber is probably the one person around here who knows the most about it.
